Alex & Ben: Larmer Tree Wedding

On June 27, 2024, the enchanting Larmer Tree Gardens was the perfect setting for the beautiful wedding of Alex and Benjamin.

Alex started her wedding day at home with her bridesmaids. I photographed the details and preparations.

The couple exchanged vows at the iconic Roman Temple within the gardens, where peacocks wandering nearby. ,The bridal party made a splendid entrance across the lawn, as a live musician set the atmosphere.

After the couple both said I do and signed the register, they made their way back down the aisle with a confetti line.

After the ceremony, guests were invited to enjoy drinks and canapés on the lawn. The musician performed in the singing theatre as guests mingled. Guests mingled.

As guests made their way to the pavilion for the reception, Alex and Ben took a moment for themselves around the stunning Roman Temple for some portraits, their first time alone as Mr & Mrs.

The reception began with an exciting twist. Benjamin had planned their honeymoon and revealed the surprise to their friends and family. A secret Alex had been desperate to discover.

After food, Guests joined back in the gardens for more drinks and Cake cut, with a live saxophonist and lawn games. They then made their way back indoors for the evening reception whilst I and the couple took some more photos, making the most of the last bit of sun on their wedding day.
